After finishing his Industrial Civil Engineering degree Manu went full on following his love for the mountains. He is a certified CSIA Level 3 (part Ski) ski instructor, holds an AIARE Level 2 Avalanche Certification, Wilderness First Responder and is a member of the Chilean Search and Rescue Organization - Socorro Andino, Trained in Glacier Travel, Crevasse Rescue and Advanced Ski Mountaineering techniques in the Canadian Rockies. Manu has more than 15 years of experience skiing different mountain ranges and 7 years of ski mountaineering in the most beautiful volcanoes of the Andes, the last couple years he's been exploring the beautiful snowy peaks of Rogers Pass, the Selkirks and Monashee Mountains around Revelstoke in British Columbia. When it's not winter or he can't ski, he enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, playing music with friends or planning his next adventure along with a good cup of coffee.
Freeski Backcountry + 10 year experience, PMBI Profesional Mtb instructor, Big Mountainbike, Tiny House builder, Climb, percussions. Holds an AIARE Level 2 avalanche certification, Wilderness First Responder, Glacier Travel and Crevasse Rescue Course - ENAM, Rope Work Techniques Course - ENAM, Leave no Trace - NOLS, Vital Support. Member of the Chilean Mountain Rescue - Cuerpo Socorro Andino - since 2013.
Panchi is a graduated Technician in Mountain Adventure Tourism from ITUR, located in the beautiful touristic city of Pucón in southern Chile. Valle Las Trancas, his home mountain, is where he spend most of his time gaining experience and crafting his love for the Andes. He holds an ANENA (France) Level 2 avalanche certification, AIARE Level 1 avalanche certification, Wilderness First Responder, CAA AST 1 avalanche course, training in Glacier Travel, Crevasse Rescue and Rope Work Techniques. Member of the Chilean Search and Rescue Organization - Socorro Andino - since 2013, Professional Mountain Bike Instructor (PMBI) Level 1. Besides being a freerider and backcountry skier with more than 15 years of experience. He is an avid driver able to handle any kind of road conditions. When is not winter, Panchi spends his days mountain biking, exploring the valley doing long hikes into the wild, rock climbing, and building the next level bike trail on the woods. Fluent in English and in the aprés.
I couldn’t have asked for a better group or a better place for my first snow-stop in Chile, and I left them sad to say goodbye but having re-found my happy, and excited about the adventures ahead.
